Kathy Hilton won't be seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills next season.

A source confirms to PEOPLE that Hilton didn't film for season 13, following up on Hilton's own reveal that she had been more involved with season 2 of daughter Paris Hilton's Peacock reality show.

When asked if she would be returning for the upcoming 13th season of RHOBH, the 64-year-old told E! News: "No, I'm doing Paris in Love."

She added of Housewives: "But I know it's going to be great. It's always interesting and fun and lots of drama."

News of her departure comes after her sister and former costar Kyle Richards revealed last week that her relationship with Hilton was still strained following the RHOBH season 12 reunion, which aired in October.

“Things are obviously not great — I think most people know that,” the Halloween Kills star told E! News. “But we're family, we're blood. We'll always come back together."

The pair reunited at their niece Whitney Davis's bridal shower a few weeks ago and will attend her upcoming wedding.

"It's my niece's special day and she's going to be getting married, and we're all going to be together there,” the reality star shared. “We'll be, of course, civil and nice and hopefully, one day, be back to normal again."

Hilton joined the series in 2021 for season 11, appearing as a "Friend of" the franchise alongside her full-time diamond-holder sister Kyle, 54. The pair's middle sister Kim Richards previously left the series in 2015 after five seasons.

Hilton quickly became a fan favorite during her first season on the show. Some of her most iconic and viral moments include her asking, "Who's Hunky Dory?" as well as her hilarious inability to correctly play two truths and a lie.

But the fun and games came to a screeching halt in her second season as she was accused of having an off-screen meltdown during a cast trip to Aspen. At the time, Hilton allegedly misbehaved while at a club with the group — and even used the F-word slur.

Hilton was also accused of making horrible comments about all of her costars, including Kyle.

The only cast member to allegedly witness the entire breakdown was Lisa Rinna, who announced her departure from the series in January. In a previous episode, Rinna said she was so "shook" by Hilton's behavior that upon returning to the cast's vacation home, she quickly retreated to her bedroom and locked herself in to get away from her Hilton.

Though Kyle chose to forgive and forget what Hilton allegedly did, Rinna wasn't backing down.

"I'm sorry, Kathy, you're not going to get away with it with me," Rinna said in a previous episode. "You can have your tears. You can do what you're going to do but you did what you did and you're not going to just gaslight and manipulate me right now."

In the season 12 finale episode, Rinna and fellow castmate Erika Girardi were accused of leaking information on Hilton's meltdown to the press. But Kyle disclosed to the group that Girardi's publicist was allegedly behind the matter.

Hilton later declared that she would not return to the series if Rinna, 59, and Girardi, 51, weren't removed from the cast.

"I had said that I would only be willing to come back if the cast [was different]. If it was completely the same, absolutely not," she said in a video posted by TMZ. "I feel there are two bullies that intimidate a lot of the other girls. A couple speak up, but most of them, they're not being the most authentic self when they're pushed up to the wall and they're afraid of what those two bullies [might do] because they're capable of anything, Erika and Lisa."

Hilton also accused Rinna and Girardi of being "desperate for a storyline."

"They'll throw anybody under the bus," she added. "I said a few weeks ago, 'You watch. They're all going to start turning on each other.'"

Rinna announced her own exit from the series in January.
