SAN ANTONIOESPN is reporting Josh Primo was released by the San Antonio Spurs for multiple allegations that he exposed himself to women.

Details surrounding the allegations are still very limited, but NBA Insider for The Athletic and Stadium Shams Charania said a former Spurs employee was among the women Primo allegedly exposed himself to.

That former employee has reportedly hired attorney Tony Buzbee, according to Charania.

The Spurs announced their decision to waive Primo before Friday’s game against the Chicago Bulls.

On Friday, Spurs Sports & Entertainment CEO RC Buford said in a statement that it’s the team’s hope the decision to waive Primo “will serve the best interest of both the organization and Joshua.”

Primo issued a statement to ESPN not long after the announcement, saying he will use his time away from the Spurs to focus on his mental health and heal from trauma.

“I know that you all are surprised by today’s announcement. I’ve been seeking help to deal with previous trauma I suffered and will now take this time to focus on my mental health treatment more fully. I hope to be able to discuss these issues in the future so I can help others who have suffered in similar way. I appreciate privacy at this time.”

As of Saturday, Josh Primo jerseys have been removed from the official Spurs’ Fan Shop and on the NBA store’s website.

Fans also noticed that promotional content of Primo on the Spurs’ social media pages have been mostly removed as of Saturday.
