Harry Kane is currently in Munich to complete the final touches of his £100m move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old's future at Tottenham Hotspur has been the subject of intense speculation all summer long, with chairman Daniel Levy having rejected three bids from the Germans for Kane.

However, earlier this week, an agreement between Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich officials was eventually reached and Kane was therefore granted permission to travel to Germany to undergo a medical.

On Friday, Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou confirmed Kane's move to Tottenham Hotspur was "imminent", with footage later that night later showing the Tottenham and England captain being greeted by supporters when his private jet arrived in Munich.

Meanwhile, speaking before this weekend's German Super Cup, Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel said: "We can confirm this, but as we speak there is no agreement yet and if there is no agreement yet then the coach cannot talk about someone who is not their player.

"I understand there are a lot of ifs and whens. All options are open. The first is to have him as a player and at the moment he is not yet that.

"This is a big deal. We are trying to take the England captain away from the Premier League."

Taking to Instagram on Saturday morning, Kane confirmed he would be leaving the club and insisted it was the right time to do despite being "sad" at departing the North London outfit.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, close to agreeing an initial £52m deal with Southampton for midfielder Romeo Lavia.

The 19-year-old has been the subject of three rejected bids by Liverpool this summer but it now appears the Londoners have moved ahead of Jurgen Klopp's side in the race for Lavia.

Liverpool and Chelsea spent Friday going head to head in pursuit of Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo, with the Reds having a £115m bid for the Ecuadorian accepted by the Seagulls on Friday. As it stands, it is unclear whether Liverpool will concentrate on Caicedo or launch a fourth bid for Lavia.

Mauricio Pochettino's side had also been expected to complete a move for Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams this weekend after it was claimed they were set to trigger a £20m release clause in his contract.

However, on Friday afternoon Adams' move to Stamford Bridge was confirmed to have fallen through on Friday. According to Sky Sports, the move for the USA international was unable to move forward due to both clubs being "unable to reach an agreement".
