AUSTIN, Texas – The White team defeated the Orange team, 20-12, in the Texas Football Spring Game on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

After being shutout in the first quarter, the White team scored 13 points in the second quarter to take a 13-9 halftime lead. They surged in front, and never relinquished the lead, after D'Shawn Jamison tallied a 92-yard interception return for a touchdown as time expired in the half. His was one of two interceptions for the White team in the game, with Kitan Crawford recording a walk-off pick on the final play of the game with the Orange team throwing a Hail Mary toward the endzone as time expired.

Offensively, quarterback Hudson Card completed 15-of-25 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown. He connected most frequently with Kai Money (6 catches, 79 yards) and Al'Vonte Woodard (4 catches, 44 yards), with Marcus Washington (2 catches, 25 yards) hauling in the third-quarter touchdown pass from six yards out.

For the Orange team, Casey Thompson completed 23-of-42 passes for 242 yards. He completed passes to 10 different receivers, with seven of those logging multiple catches. Jordan Whittington was the Orange team's leading receiver, snagging team-highs in receptions (5) and receiving yards (56) on Saturday. Bijan Robinson led the squad with 81 all-purpose yards, rushing for 54 and a touchdown on 10 carries and catching four passes for 27 yards. Robinson's touchdown was a six-yard score on the game's opening possession.

Defensively, Jett Bush and Moro Ojomo each recorded three sacks for the Orange and White teams, respectively, Prince Dorbah (6 tackles, 2 TFL, 1 sack) and David Gbenda (7 tackles) were the leading tackles for the Orange and White teams, respectively, on the stat sheet.

Cameron Dicker provided much of the scoring for both teams, converting on 4-of-5 field goal tries in the contest. He made his first four attempts from 58, 39, 28 and 24 yards before missing a 51-yarder on his final try.

The Orange-White Spring Game marks the end of spring practice for the Longhorns, who now turn their attention toward summer workouts before the 2021 season kicks off on Saturday, Sept. 4, vs. Louisiana at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium.
