Freeport Area Library is accepting donations of new and used household items, books, toys, games, puzzles and DVDs for its upcoming sale.

Donations welcome for the Friendship Garden Food Pantry

Donations for the food pantry in the Tarentum Friendship Garden can be dropped off at the pantry on First Avenue or at the side doors to First United Presbyterian Church, 913 Lock St., Tarentum.

Items needed include cereal, tuna, bread, canned vegetables and fruit, soup, macaroni and cheese, rice, spaghetti and pasta sauce.


Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels seeking volunteers

Lower Burrell Meals on Wheels is seeking volunteers to help in the kitchen and make deliveries in Arnold, New Kensington and Lower Burrell.
