This might be the most open a Bills wide receiver was on Sunday.
Stefon Diggs had a solid but relatively quiet performance in the AFC championship game vs. the Chiefs, grabbing six passes for 77 yards and no touchdowns. The result was an emotional final few minutes alongside quarterback Josh Allen on the sideline.
Diggs, clearly shaken by Buffalo's 38-24 loss, decided to take an opportunity to motivate himself for next season, apparently.

Rather than head to the locker room to sulk following the L, Diggs stood on the field in Arrowhead Stadium, the only Bills player to do so, observing Kansas City's celebration from afar. You can probably file this under Michael Jordan's "and I took that personally."
Really, how much more motivation could the All-Pro wideout need? Diggs had 127 receptions, 1,535 yards and eight touchdowns alongside Allen in his first season in Buffalo. With Allen taking the next step in 2020, it will be worth watching how much better the duo can get.
Diggs earned first-team All-Pro honors and Buffalo made it all the way to the conference championship game in a dominant season. Hardly anything to get upset over.
But if Diggs, Allen and the Bills do get better in 2021, then you might look back to this moment as the impetus.
