Beachgoers know one of the three exits to be improved by a $193 million Garden State Parkway project for its sharp curves to and from Route 37 on that final leg of their Jersey Shore trip to the Seasides and those barrier islands.
A project has been proposed to make those cloverleaf style exits and entrances a little more gentle and to add missing ramps, shoulders, acceleration and deceleration lanes and to rebuild 11 bridges on a section of the Parkway between Exits 80 and 83 in Toms River, South Toms River and Berkley Township.
