Colonel Caravan Stops Begin In June

RICHMOND, Ky. –
The annual EKU Colonel Caravan stops are coming in June and July.The Colonel Caravan gives fans the chance to meet coaches from across EKU Athletics, including football head coach Walt Wells, men's basketball head coach A.W. Hamilton and women's basketball head coach Greg Todd.
The first stop is scheduled for the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area on Monday, June 14. The event will be held at the House of Orange in Covington, Kentucky. On Tuesday, June 15 the caravan stops in Louisville at Martin's BBQ. The Colonel Caravan hits Lexington on Tuesday, June 22 with a stop at Apollo Pizza. Each stop on the Colonel Caravan begins at 7 p.m. and concludes at 8:30 p.m.
Included in the 2021 schedule is a celebration of EKU's move to the ASUN Conference in Richmond on July 1, 2021 with ASUN Commissioner Ted Gumbart expected to attend. That event is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Richmond Centre.
A short program at each site will introduce fans to the coaches and the ASUN Conference. Fans can order 2021 football season tickets and pick up other EKU information. Light appetizers will be free at most sites with fans encouraged to order additional food and drinks.
Additional coaches will include softball head coach Jane Worthington, women's golf head coach Mandy Moore, volleyball head coach Johnna Bazzani and soccer head coach Matt Cosinuke at select locations.
A Colonel Caravan stop in Nashville will occur in July. The exact date and location will be announced later.
