Only one lane got by a serious crash where a car got wedged under a tractor-trailer on the northbound lanes of Interstate 95 in New Castle County, Delaware, Monday morning.
The crash took place around 3:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes near the Exit 4 Route 1 interchanges in Christiana.
Delaware State Police didn't reveal the conditions of anyone involved in the wreck, but it appeared someone could be seriously hurt as they spent hours investigating what happened.
Cars and trucks backed up for miles approaching the scene. Speeds slowed to single digits passing the scene.
Drivers can take Pulaski Highway to avoid the crash scene entirely.
