MANHATTAN, Kan. – Each week throughout the 2020 season, k-statesports.com recaps the action for the 13 former Kansas State football players currently in the NFL.
 
Deante Burton, DB – Dallas Cowboys
Burton was in for seven defensive snaps and seven special teams plays in Dallas' 41-16 home setback to Washington on Thanksgiving Day. It was the second time this season Burton was called up from the Cowboys' practice squad as he also played in their Week 3 game at Seattle. Dallas is now 3-8 this season and travels to face Baltimore on Tuesday.
 
B.J. Finney, OL – Cincinnati Bengals
Finney was inactive for the Bengals' 19-17 home loss to the New York Giants. A product of Andale, Kansas, Finney was traded to the Bengals from the Seahawks on October 28. Cincinnati is now 2-8-1 this season and travels to face Miami on Sunday.
 
Elijah Lee, LB – Cleveland Browns
Lee was in for one defensive snap and 14 special teams plays in Cleveland's narrow 27-25 home win over Jacksonville. It was Lee's third game with the Browns as he began his season with the Lions before being waived by Detroit on October 29 and claimed by Cleveland the next day. Cleveland improved to 8-3 on the season, which is good for second in the AFC North and would be the No. 5 seed in the playoffs if the season ended today. The Browns hit the road to face Tennessee on Sunday.
 
Tyler Lockett, WR – Seattle Seahawks
Starting his 66th-career game, Lockett caught three passes for 23 yards in Seattle's 23-17 win at Philadelphia on Monday night. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, native has 70 receptions for 771 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He is tied for sixth in the NFL in touchdown receptions and ranks seventh in catches. The Seahawks lead the NFC West with an 8-3 record – one game ahead of the Los Angeles Rams – and they host the New York Giants on Sunday.
 
Cornelius Lucas, OL – Washington Football Team
Lucas, a sixth-year veteran, was inactive for a second-straight game due to an injury. Washington earned a 41-16 Thanksgiving Day win at Dallas to improve to 4-7 this season and share the lead in the NFC East. Washington travels to face Pittsburgh on Monday.
 
Matt McCrane, K – Cleveland Browns
McCrane is on the Browns' practice after signing with the organization in Week 3. Cleveland earned a 27-25 victory over Jacksonville on Sunday to improve to 8-3 on the season, good for second place in the AFC North. The Browns travel to face Tennessee on Sunday.
 
Byron Pringle, WR – Kansas City Chiefs
Pringle was put on injured reserve on Tuesday prior to the Chiefs' 27-24 win at Tampa Bay. In 10 games this season, Pringle has nine receptions for 108 yards to go along with seven kickoff returns for 247 yards (35.3-yard average) and a touchdown. He is one of only four players in the league with a kickoff-return score this season. The Chiefs remain in first place in the AFC West with a 10-1 record, and they host Denver on Sunday night.
 
D.J. Reed Jr., DB – Seattle Seahawks
Reed returned two punts for 19 yards and one kickoff for 21 yards in Seattle's 23-17 Monday-night win at Philadelphia. With the win, Seattle improved to 8-3 on the season to remain in first place in the NFC West. The Seahawks host the New York Giants on Sunday.
 
Dalton Risner, OL – Denver Broncos
Risner stared his 27th-career game and was in for all 43 offensive snaps in Denver's 31-3 home loss to New Orleans. The Wiggins, Colorado, product has seen time on 1,679 of the Broncos' 1,749 offensive snaps (96.0%) since he began his career last year. Denver is now 4-7 this year and travels to face Kansas City on Sunday night.
 
Duke Shelley, DB – Chicago Bears
Shelley made a tackle among his four defensive snaps and was also in for six special teams plays in Chicago's 41-25 loss at Green Bay on Sunday night. The Bears fell to 5-6 this year, and they host Detroit on Sunday.
 
Reggie Walker, LB - Arizona Cardinals
Walker, who has played in two games this year for the Cardinals, is on the Arizona practice squad. The Cardinals suffered a 20-17 loss at New England to fall to 6-5 on the season. Arizona is currently in third place in the NFC West but would be the final Wild Card team in the NFC if the playoff started today. The Cardinals will look to right the ship by hosting the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
 
Cody Whitehair, OL – Chicago Bears
Whitehair started and was in for all 68 offensive snaps in Chicago's 41-25 loss at Green Bay on Sunday night. The Bears fell to 5-6 with the loss prior to hosting Detroit on Sunday.
 
Jordan Willis, DE – San Francisco 49ers
Willis was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list on November 23. The 49ers earned a 23-20 victory at the Los Angeles Rams thanks to a 42-yard field goal as time expired. San Francisco improved to 5-6 on the season and hosts Buffalo on Monday night in the 49ers temporary home, State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
