The ramp connecting northbound U.S. Highway 75 and the eastbound lanes of President George Bush Turnpike will close overnight Thursday for routine maintenance, the North Texas Tollway Authority said.
The closure begins at 10 p.m. Thursday and will affect motorists traveling north on U.S. Highway 75 and want to exit to the eastbound lanes of the President George Bush Turnpike, the tollway authority said. The ramp is scheduled to reopen 5 a.m. Friday.
Travelers will instead need to exit the highway at the Plano Parkway exit and turn right on the President George Bush Turnpike frontage road, according to NTTA.

Michael Rey, an NTTA spokesman, said the maintenance work is to clean the ramps drains and concrete barriers. Rey said the tollway authority does not expect the closure to affect morning rush hour on Friday.
“Hopefully, we won’t affect too many people,” Rey said. “And 5 a.m. Friday is the drop-dead time that we’ll be done by; the repairs may be finished earlier.”
