New I-30 eastbound exit to Six Flags Drive open, plus other Arlington road construction and closures - The Dallas Morning News

The Interstate 30 eastbound exit to Copeland Road/Six Flags Drive has been opened, giving drivers another way into Arlington’s Entertainment District.

The exit is part of the larger Interstate 30/State Highway 360 interchange project being worked on by the Texas Department of Transportation.

Here are continued closures related to the Interstate 30/State Highway 360 interchange project:

I-30 Eastbound and Westbound mainlanes between Farm-to-Market Road 157/Collins Street and State Highway 161/ President George Bush Turnpike will be closed Aug. 7 to 10 for bridge removal at State Highway 360. Traffic will be detoured to State Highway 180/Division Street/Main Street.

I-30 Westbound Exit to AT&T Way/Baird Farm Road will continue to be closed until Aug. 31 for pavement reconstruction in the median. Traffic will be directed to the Ballpark Way exit and proceed to the AT&T Way/Baird Farm Road intersection.

I-30 Eastbound Entrance from AT&T Way/Baird Farm Road will continue to be closed until Aug. 31 for pavement reconstruction in the median. Traffic will be directed to the prior entrance from FM 157/Collins Street.

SH 360 Southbound Mainlines between Division Street and Kingswood Boulevard will continue to be reduced to one lane at various locations from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m until Aug. 28 to complete pavement work, excluding holiday blackouts. Through Sept. 30, the Southbound Mainlines between Division St. and Kingswood Boulevard will have various lanes closed to complete various work from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., excluding Sundays and holiday blackouts.

SH 360 Southbound Mainlines between Avenue J and Six Flags Drive will be reduced to one lane for a major traffic switch starting July 31 to Aug. 3. The same area will be reduced to two lanes for median utility work starting July 31 to Oct. 31.

SH 360 Northbound Mainlines between Division Street and Kingswood Boulevard will continue to be reduced to one lane at various locations from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. until Aug. 28 to complete pavement repairs, excluding holiday blackouts. Through Sept. 30, the Southbound Mainlines between Division Street and Kingswood Boulevard will have lanes closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to complete work, excluding Sundays and holiday blackouts.

SH 360 South-to-North U-Turn at Abram Street will continue to be closed until Sept. 30 for State Highway 360 bridge work.

Avenue J over SH 360 will continue to be closed through Aug. 6 for pavement work.

Lamar Boulevard under SH 360 will be closed for bridge removal from Aug. 9 to 12.

Six Flags Drive under SH 360 will be closed for bridge removal from Aug. 4 to 7.

Majesty Drive intersection with SH 360 northbound frontage road will continue to be closed for utility work through Aug. 15.
