MANHATTAN, Kansas - K-State returns to action on Friday, October 2, as the Wildcats host (6) Kansas at 7 p.m., in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown.

• Seating at Buser Family Park will be limited to 25 percent capacity and fans are asked to sit general admission-style and socially distanced from the other pods of fans.
• In accordance with City of Manhattan ordinance and Kansas State University policy, fans must wear face coverings over their mouths and noses in order to enter Buser Family Park and continue wearing them inside the stadium. Fans with a medical condition, mental health condition, deaf or hard of hearing or have a disability that prevents them from wearing a face covering will be required to wear a face shield as a reasonable modification. Children 5 and under are not required to wear a face covering. Fans should provide their own face coverings.
• Friday night's match will be available on Big 12 Now on ESPN+, as Brian Smoller (play-by-play), Oscar Montenegro (analyst) and Adam Cook (sideline) will have the call. The match will also be available on 101.5 KROCK in Manhattan and for free at kstatesports.com, as Mitch Fortner will call the action.

Last Time Out
• K-State's last action was September 18 at West Virginia, as the Mountaineers responded to a 1-0 deficit with four unanswered goals to drop the Wildcats, 4-1.
• Kansas State's first goal of the season was scored by senior Brookelynn Entz in the seventh minute. After collecting a long ball from senior Shelby Lierz, Entz outmanuevered the West Virginia goalkeeper and scored from the doorstep.
• Freshman goalkeeper Alaina Werremeyer made a career-high eight saves against the Mountaineers.

October Schedule Adjusted
• K-State's schedule in the month of October has been slightly adjusted from the original version.
• The Wildcats will host Oklahoma on Friday, October 16, however the match will be played at 5 p.m., instead of 7 p.m.
• For the weekend of October 22, K-State will now face Baylor in Waco, Texas, on Thursday, October 22, at 7 p.m., and then return to Buser Family Park to host TCU on Sunday, October 25, at 1 p.m.
• The K-State-TCU match was originally slated for Friday, September 25, but was postponed due to Big 12 match interuption procedures.

Purple Pitch
• K-State has played 32 home matches in its 71-game history, but have felt more comfortable at Buser Family Park.
• The Wildcats are 11-20-1 at home, including a school record four-match home field winning streak and a five-match unbeaten streak which spanned the end of the 2016 home schedule and the start of the 2017 home slate.
• In the 32 home matches, the Wildcats have been outscored by its opponents, 47-36 (-11).
• Overall in matches played within the Sunflower State, Kansas State owns a record of 12-21-1.
