LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – Southbound drivers on I-75 in Madison County may want to allow some extra time because of a closure related to the continued construction at Exit 95.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists a closure is scheduled for the southbound on-ramp at Exit 95 July 7-9. The temporary closure is necessary for construction of a new ramp.
The closure details include:
Tuesday, July 7 through Thursday, July 9 – 8 a.m. Tuesday until 5 p.m. Thursday
Interstate 75 – Exit 95
- the Southbound On Ramp at Exit 95 on Interstate 75 will be closed
Alternate Route
o a signed detour will be in place for utilizing US 25 North to Exit 97 to access Southbound Interstate 75
Motorists are advised to be aware, and utilize extra caution in the work zone.
All work, and closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
