Firefighters battle flames near an interstate exit - LEX18 Lexington KY News

WHITE HALL, Ky. (LEX 18) — Several departments are on the scene of a fire near the Madison-Fayette County line.

The large fire happened Sunday afternoon at Allen Constuction site just off of the exit at mile marker 97 of I-75.

No foul play suspected. Site won’t be investigated once contained per FD. I 75 Allen Construction site fire wasn’t set. Ignited due to heat and dry conditions. @LEX18News pic.twitter.com/6nj8lFAqmC

There were no injuries reported. Crews will stay on the scene until the fire is contained, which is expected to take until at least 9:00 tonight.
