Photo: Tyler Sizemore / Hearst Connecticut Media NEWTOWN — Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes for a two-night closure of the Interstate 84 eastbound Exit 9 ramps this week.
The ramps will be closed, weather permitting, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on both Tuesday and Wednesday for state Department of Transportation construction/safety improvement activities.
Eastbound Exit 9 off-ramp traffic will be detoured to Exit 10 and directed to follow Route 25, while eastbound on-ramp traffic will be detoured to follow Route 25 to Exit 10.
