CONWAY, Ark. - The Central Arkansas Men's Soccer Team hosts the Bellarmine Knights on Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Bill Stephens Complex in the ASUN Championships Semifinals.
TEAM NEWS
The Bears come into the match after a week off since their previous match against Lipscomb. Katsuyoshi Kimishima looks to get in a good performance against Bellarmine after missing the last match against the Knights.
FORM GUIDE
Central Arkansas fell in their final match of the regular season against Lipscomb 1-0. The loss doesn't hinder their form having put together a two game win streak before the loss.
The Knights come into the match after a 2-1 comeback against FGCU in the First Round of the ASUN Championships. Their first win in previous four matches, which pushed them to two losses and a draw that earned them a spot in the tournament.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
This is the second all-time match between the teams, which saw the Bears take the 2-0 victory. Goals from Vicent Abaso and Karim Diao pushed the Bears over the line.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Karim Diao and Alberto Suarez, both ASUN First-Team players, look to show their quality on the pitch in the tournament. With Zach Schawl looking to find another clean sheet along with the strong defense of Ole Kjoerholt and Kris Naicker. Mathias Bendiksen and Rubyn Gill look to keep their fine form going.
Kickoff is set for 1 PM CT in Conway at the Bill Stephens Complex with the winner earning a place in the ASUN Championship.
