TD Ameritrade executive Skip Schweiss has flown the coop.
Schweiss, a 12-year company veteran, announced his departure on Twitter this week, where he claims to be “Funemployed at the moment.”
He’s the latest executive to leave the company ahead of its acquisition by Charles Schwab Corp. Dani Fava, who directed institutional product strategy and development at TD, recently joined Envestnet in a similar role, according to her LinkedIn page.
Most recently, Schweiss was responsible for the Retirement Plan Solutions business at TD Ameritrade Institutional. He also served as president of TD Ameritrade Trust Company, according to his LinkedIn page.
He is still slated to become the next president of the Financial Planning Association, a decision that won’t be affected by his departure from TD, FPA spokesman Ben Lewis told InvestmentNews.
